If you have upgraded to Apple’s most recent flagship phone, you will know how cool it really is. Featuring all the latest in developer showcasing it comes with FaceID, wireless charging (no case required), infinity screen with OLED and loads of other epic stuff. So in order to get the best from your X experience, Fonehouse have put together some of the best and must have accessories to help you stand out from the crowd.
This is such a cool feature, but sadly, for now, the only thing missing is an official Apple wireless charger. Set for release sometime in 2018 but not quite arriving yet here are two different but equally cool options to enable you to take advantage of this feature.
Mophie Wireless Charging Pad
This is one of the charging pads sold by Apple, and it offers a 7.5-watt charge which is faster than most other pads on the market. The phone rests securely on the charger and signals the end of forgetting to charge your phone when you come home. Just remember to place it on the pad, and it will all be taken care of. This particular pad only comes in black, so if you are a colour fanatic and prefer white check out the Belkin Boost Up Qi pad, also endorsed by Apple. They are not the cheapest charging mats, but they do offer a superior performance.

Choetech Qi Wireless Charging Stand
For a different approach to charging this sleek black charger allows you to charge your iPhone X in an upright position. Again this only comes in black, but it does have a really cool LED that lights up green wheat the Qi wireless are being used. This is quite a bit cheaper than the pads, and all of the wireless charging options also work with iPhone 8 models. The other good news is that the LED light while totally useful has also been designed to be subtle so this makes a perfect bedside charger with the upright design making it easy to check the time.

The last thing you want to do is damage your X, but sadly accidents do happen. Having a case on your phone can help protect it from drops and other damage, so well worth considering to keep your prized possession safe. There are so many styles on the market that choosing can be quite tricky, but we think these offer a fully protected phone and they come from names you can trust.
RhinoShield Modular Case
The smart thing about a RhinoShield Modular case is it offers you choice. There are times when you don’t want to hide your phone in a full case and times when it is more sensible to do so. With this case, you can add a bumper, or switch up to a backplate that also offers such funky lenses to help you take advantage of the high spec camera

TechMatte Screen Protector
The only issue with the RhinoShield is that it doesn’t offer any protection to the front screen. This can easily be overcome by adding a screen protector. This is tempered glass version but is seriously thin at just 0.3mm thick. However, the protection level it offers is high, and you can be confident that your grand worth of phone can stay safe even if you accidentally drop it.

If you prefer a phone case that also covers the screen when not in use check out the Strada range of cases from Otterbox. They have a range of colours to keep your accessories coordinated, and there is a card slot inside so you don’t need to take a wallet or bag out. Otterbox have an excellent reputation for solid cases that really protect in the event of an accident.

iPhone X comes with wired earbuds which frankly are just about acceptable. Once more you have a few choices when it comes to making the most of your music. You can stick with the lightning cable buds, or you can accessorise
Belkin 3.5mm Audio + Charge Rockstar iPhone Adaptor
So it is really unlikely that Apple is ever going to take a step backwards and reinstate the headphone jack that they removed from 7 onwards. However, this can be totally irritating if you have some headphones you really like. This natty jack overcomes the problem by converting the lightning port back to a standard jack so you can hang onto your Beats for a bit longer.

Of course, Apple is hoping that all users will switch to their wireless flagship buds. Obviously, you can use other wireless headphones via, and we all know how variable the connection can be. AirPods do not suffer from connectivity issues because they have a dedicated W1 chip which has been added to the earbuds. Add to that the fact that there is no pairing required as these are native technology then you have a pretty decent listening experience. Warning, these are so popular they are often sold out so you may have to wait.
